The Orca Transition bag was designed as a the athlete’s toolbox. A toolbox that could be easily accessed during packing/unpacking and on the fly during transit to and from transition areas. Every need was identified and answered in the physical design.
High visibility internally with a bright liner, glow logos for low light conditions, armoured helmet storage, ergonomic harness for heavy loads and comfort, reflective logos, volume analysis for the right amount of storage, fast access storage, mesh compartments for inventory visibility, anti-scuff, waterproof and more.
There were several concepts explored to get the right shape for function and storage. Combining wet and dry compartments, storage hierarchy (e.g. when will I need something), ergonomics, overall weight (and the cost) were key drivers of the design process.
This design consistently gets good reviews and is a purpose built piece of kit that ticks quite a few boxes for the sports where your bag literally needs to be your tool kit on the fly.
